I
n bygone days, the term miniature only applied to small watercolour portraits painted on ivory. Nowadays, its' meaning applies to everything that is reduced in size.

Sylvie du PATY de CLAM produces paintings for dolls houses, framed landscapes from 4 x 4 cm, single or double, gold plated medallions 2.5 cm in diameter with varnished gouache on paper.

The artist collects together miniature items of porcelain during her trips abroad (Japan, China, England) which are now also available in France. They are painted and baked at 820°C.

There is a varied range of items available: plates, oriental vases, goblets, candlesticks, pitchers and basins.
